ABSTRACT
In this paper we propose a communication and cooperation system for optimizing
civil engineering work processes. The system exploits standard software
components such as CAD-tools and augments them with internet and world
wide web based tools. Different user needs in the civil engineering process
are met by specific user profiles allowing for adapted and tailored user
interface creation within the server structure of the system.
