July 11th, 2025  |  Published in Research

OpenEarable ExG is the latest extension of the OpenEarable ecosystem, introducing on-ear Arduino-compatible hardware tailored for biopotential sensing. It is an open-source platform for ear-based biopotential sensing, enabling measurement of EEG, EMG & EOG signals via up to 7 channels. It builds on the original OpenEarable with added 24-bit ADC, instrumentation amplifiers, and a driven‑right‑leg circuit for low-noise biopotential capture.
